Spirited Forest
After reading Olga Tockarczuk’s “Drive Your Plow Over the Bones of the Dead,” I wondered if we would take better care of our fellow inhabitants of this earth, if we saw and recognized them as animated beings. The story in my head began to unfold as a fictional world.
