De Overkant
In 2021, I was living partly in Amsterdam-North. The area was transforming rapidly.
From a distance, across the water, you could see the crowds of tourists. I could not hear them because they were too far away; instead, I heard the lapping water and the rustling of the wind. I felt the need to document the calm that I sensed, so I could hold on to that.
